In February 2003, I started looking at various business opportunities as a way to bring in additional revenue to the household budget. Due to several health reasons which were brought on by a car accident, we quickly

watched my 27 years of being a seamstress come to a close. I had several criteria for the business that I wanted to start and build. One of the main points was a business that would bring joy happiness to others.  In addition, it would have to be one that utilized my creative skills and push me to new levels of creative excellence.  

  After much prayer and research I settled on a company primarily

focusing on 7 ft Storks to announce a baby’s birth and Yard Cards that

would be used to announce Birthdays, Anniversaries and other special occasions. As time went on, gift baskets and balloons were added to the business. With the addition of balloons, I took all the classes necessary

to become a Certified Balloon Artist and have held that title since 2006.  Balloon creations have really utilized my creative skills in ways I never

would have imagined. 

   Every New Year seems to bring changes for companies; however, our mission does not waiver-to bring joy and happiness to others. We are

more committed than ever to stay focused on our customers. As a result,

we have made some much needed changes. A name change, expanding products and services and a renewed vision to continue to serve our community with integrity, attention to detail on every order and exceeding expectations to create memories to last a lifetime lead the way.  

   As the company has continued to grow and expand over the past few years, it is only fitting that we evaluate how to be more effective for our customers.  One way is to change our name. Our new name is Celebrate with Balloons, (Celebrate with Gift Baskets, Celebrate with Storks and Celebrate with Yard Cards), this will make it easier for our name to be remembered.  Never again will we be confused with other companies. 

The Celebrate companies are one big family designed to stay true to

our motto “We Celebrate Life’s Special Events”.

  When not working on a new creation, you can find me enjoying time

with my growing family. Our son Chris and his wife Delia have given birth to our first Grandchild-Abigail Lily Grace. The joy she has brought to our

lives goes beyond words. In fact, Abigail has welcomed her new baby brother Elijah Simon James into her family on January 26, 2011.

  In addition to Chris, we have three other children; Brandon who is a

Sailor in the United States Navy and will be leaving Florida to be stationed

in Japan February 27, 2012 were so proud of him. Danielle, is a Sophomore in High School and is taking Dance and Spencer who is in the 6th Grade. 

I'm so proud of them all and love them so much, it truly is a honor to be their Mother and Grammy.
